Let's explore, create, and play together!
Hello! My name is Ellie, and I’m the owner and speech-language pathologist of Blooming Imaginations.
I grew up in Salmon, Idaho, where the surrounding mountains and rivers nurtured my love for the outdoors. From rafting and hiking to camping and sports, those early experiences shaped not only my personal passions but also my professional philosophy.
I hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a Minor in Sign Language Studies, and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. My work focuses on supporting children and families in feeling encouraged, confident, and joyful as they learn and grow together.
I believe in a holistic, strengths-based approach that empowers each child to build resilience and embrace their authentic self. Play, sensory-rich experiences, and time outdoors are central to the therapy I provide, helping children thrive in both natural and structured settings.
Outside of my practice, you’ll often find me rafting, camping, hiking, cross-country skiing, or fly fishing with my family—continuing to enjoy the same adventures that inspired me from the start.
Land Acknowledgement:
Blooming Imaginations also acknowledges that our work takes place on the ancestral homeland of the Salish people in Montana’s Bitterroot Valley. The Salish were forcibly removed from this land and later joined with the Kootenai and Pend d’Oreilles peoples to form the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes (CSKT). Blooming Imaginations is committed to honoring this history and fostering respect and connection with First Nations communities.
